Events

Keith A. Casey enlisted in the United States Army on January 2nd, 1985, as a 91F, Psychiatric Specialist, and served at Fitzsimons Army Hospital in Aurora, Colorado. In August 1987, Keith entered the Green to Gold program and enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Keith was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Field Artillery in May 1989. After graduating from the Field Artillery Officer Basic Course, he was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 11th Field Artillery at Fort Richardson, AK. In April 1992, Keith was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment at Fort Lewis, WA. After graduating from the Field Artillery Officer Advanced Course in 1994, Keith was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery at Fort Hood, TX. In July 1998, Keith was assigned to the Operations Group at Fort Irwin, CA. In 2003, after graduating from the Command and General Staff College, Keith was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 33rd Field Artillery in Bamberg, Germany. In 2005, Keith was assigned to the 1st Infantry Division, Division Artillery. In 2006, Keith was reassigned to the 1st Infantry Division Headquarters stationed at Fort Riley, KS. In 2008, Keith was reassigned to the 1st Brigade Combat Team at Fort Riley, KS. In 2009, Keith assumed command of the 1st Battalion, 5th Field Artillery at Fort Riley, KS. After command, Keith served as a Strategic Fellow at the United States Army War College, focusing on Middle East Policy and U.S. Army Leadership Doctrine. In August 2013, Keith was assigned to the Fires Center of Excellence at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Keith retired in September 2015 as a Colonel. Prior to coming to Concordia University Wisconsin, Keith worked at Oshkosh Defense as a Program Quality Manager. Keith has two daughters: Ashlyn and Alyssa.

 Keith’s military schooling includes: the Field Artillery Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, the US Army Airborne School, the US Army Ranger School, the US Army Air Assault School, the Commanding General and Staff College, and Strategic Fellow at the United States Army War College. Keith’s civilian education includes two Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, a Master of Arts from Webster University, and a Master of Strategic Studies from the United States War College.

Keith’s military awards include; the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Accommodation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Presidential Unit Citation, the Joint Meritorious Unit Citation, the Army Valorous Unit Citation, the Army Meritorious Unit Citation, the Army Superior Unit Award, the National Defense Service Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, the Southwest Service Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal,  the Iraqi Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal,  the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, and the Army Overseas Service Ribbon.  Keith is awarded the Combat Action Badge, the Parachutist Badge, the Air Assault Badge, and the Ranger Tab.

Dawn Fiedler serves as Rotary District 6270 District Governor for 2026-2027 and is a past
president of the Elkhorn Rotary Club. She has also served as Assistant District Governor,
Member-at-Large for medium-sized clubs, and as a board member of the Rotary Club to End
Human Trafficking in District 5950.

Dawn is the founder and president of Join the Movement Events, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
dedicated to raising awareness and providing education about human trafficking. Inspired by a
Rotary District conference, Dawn founded the organization in 2017 and has since focused on
helping communities recognize the signs of trafficking and respond effectively. Through her
presentations, Dawn provides industry-specific education for business and community leaders,
with a focus on prevention, social media awareness, and internet safety. She advocates for
survivors by connecting them with resources that support lasting change.

Dawn is also a founding member and current chair of the Walworth County Anti-Human
Trafficking Task Force. She and her husband, Peter, are blessed with four sons, three
daughters-in-law, three granddaughters, and two grandsons.She is visiting 54 Rotary Clubs in
our District between 7/12 and 11/19 to share her story and understand their story.
