Christine Bohn - OWLT Project Coordinator
Ozaukee Washington Land Trust

Christine joined the OWLT crew in Fall of 2014 when a new partnership with the City of Mequon, the Mequon-Thiensville Rotary Club and OWLT created an opportunity to hire a land stewardship intern to help deliver greater environmental care to the Pukaite Woods of Mequon’s larger Rotary Park.

After completing her undergraduate degree in Conservation and Environmental Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Christine was moved to a full-time, limited-term position as a Project Coordinator for OWLT. Her main focus is administering a Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) grant to control invasive species and promote the reestablishment of sustainable, native vegetative communities in southeast Wisconsin and northeast Illinois. In addition, Christine continues to help with the stewardship program at the Pukaite Woods and assists in implementing other conservation related projects as needed. She is trained through the National Wildfire Coordinating Group in Wildland Fire Behavior and Firefighter Safety and enjoys working with landowners and other community members on restoration projects.
